March 15th, 2021 – Via Zoom online

 

In attendance Councillors Mike Carr, Richard Pick, Richard Wilson, Peter Scofield, Tony May, Andrew Means joined at 7.10pm see items covered. District Councillor Gill Ogden.

No public forum required.

Vice Chairman opened the meeting. 

 

Agenda

  1. Welcome from Cllr Mike Carr to the March meeting.
  2. Apologies from Cllr Guy Forman
  3. No declarations of interest on agenda items declared at this time.
  4. Notes – previously circulated from the January meeting PROPOSAL – Cllr Tony May seconded Cllr Richard Pick these are a true and correct record of the meeting held 18 Jan 2021 all voted in favour. Chairman will sign at next physical meeting. RESOLVED
  5. NK District Cllr Gill Ogden – schemes for tree planting are being rolled out a may be available to parishes – NK have ruled that all public Firework displays must be publicised, a meeting had been held with Marc Jones the current Police & Crime commissioner.

Chairman Cllr Means joined the meeting – due to poor connection he requested that Cllr Carr continued to Chair this meeting.

  1. Date proposed for May meeting was set due to change in legislation. May 4th via Zoom all voted in favour RESOLVED
  2. Tattershall Lakes – at this time no further issues to report, Council agreed to keep an eye on this situation, currently the site is closed to visitors, the test will be when fully operational.
  3. LCC Highways still unable to give a timescale for the works to the Footpath A153 – Clerk continues to request updates on this and other promised works.
  4. Elizabeth Avenue – Cllr Pick & Clerk met to look at the dyke and grass cutting, Glendale is to be asked to strim an additional portion to tidy up the area.  The dyke is a mess ownership of this needs to be addressed and a clearance done; Cllr Ogden did not think it would be NK but would ask, LCC say it isn’t theirs. Clerk will continue to ask around.
  5. Cllr Means Proposed to pay salary and HMRC element as listed £304, £76, LALC annual membership fee £149.12, seconded Cllr P Scofield, all voted in favour RESOLVED – online banking was discussed this was Proposed, seconded and  RESOLVED; clerk will complete the mandate which will need to be signed by the signatories, hopefully at the next face to face meeting.
  6. Items for next agenda – Council were made aware of a resident being featured on Facebook posts – Police are aware of the details.      Landing stage at Tattershall Bridge; the verge is in a very poor state and needs urgent attention along with the roadside along the riverbank to Chapel Hill. Clerk to report.
