Dogdyke Annual Parish Council Meeting
Monday 13th May 2024
The Royal Oak, Tattershall Bridge. Start time 7.45pm
In attendance Councillors Andrew Means, Guy Forman, Peter Scofield, Richard Wilson, Christopher Brown, Neil Harvey.
No members of public, no district or county Councillors in attendance.
Agenda
- Nominations for Chairman were called for, Cllr Chris Brown nominated Cllr Guy Forman, there were no other nominations, seconded Cllr Pete Scofield, all voted in favour RESOLVED Cllr Forman accepted the position and thanked the Cllrs for their support. Many thanks to Cllr Andrew Means for his many years in the Chair.
- Nominations for Vice Chair , Cllr A Means nominated Cllr P Scofield, seconded Cllr Brown, all voted in favour RESOLVED, Cllr Scofield accepted the position vice chair.
- Apologies and reasons were heard and accepted from Cllr Jim Turner – all in favour RESOLVED
- No declarations of interest.
- Cllr Guy Forman proposed the notes of the meeting held 11th March having been previously circulated, as a true and correct record of the meeting, seconded Cllr Neil Harvey, all voted in favour RESOLVED Chairman signed and dated the minutes.
- No district or county Cllrs present – no reports received.
- Annual audit papers – completed. A. Council considered all questions on the annual governance statement and were able to answer yes to all. B Council studied the accounts and all were approved, C. Internal auditors reports received. Chairman and Clerk signed all relevant documents. RESOLVED
- Finances – Proposal Cllr A Means, Seconded Cllr G Forman to pay salary & HMRC for April & May £260 per month £58 per month, Auditors fee £60, Council insurance £241, refreshments and room hire £40. All in Favour RESOLVED.
- Grass Cutting – new contractor to be trialled to cut Cemetery, River Bank and additional centre of Chapel Hill, Cllr Brown proposed, seconded Cllr Means, all in favour RESOLVED
- Clerks report – issues needing attention. Some stone has been laid alongside the Riverbank Road, this is most helpful, and please can this be continued along the full length? Trees on the corner of A153 into Tattershall Bridge need cutting back to improve visibility. Lamp post replacement.
