Dogdyke Parish Council Meeting

Monday 8th July 2024

The Royal Oak, Tattershall Bridge, 7pm

In attendance- Cllrs G Forman, P Scofield, R Wilson, C Brown, A Means, N Harvey.   NKDC Adrian Whittle

No members of public.

1. Welcome from Chairman
2. Apologies and reasons heard from  Cllr J Turner – Resolved.
3. No declarations of interest or requests for dispensation received.
4. Cllr A Means proposed the notes of the Annual meeting held on 8th July having been previously circulated, as a true and correct record, seconded Cllr P Scofield, all voted in favour RESOLVED Chairman signed & dated the minutes.
5. NKDC Adrian Whittle –reported he had been working with Highways to clear overgrowth on the path from Witham Drive to Chapel Hill. NK have purchased the Carr Arms in Sleaford.
6. Finances - resolution for payments: - Salary June £260; HMRC £58; Salary July £260, HMRC £58, Grass cutting cemetery & centre of village, £180, £162, £126 Meeting room hire £30. Proposed payment as listed Cllr P Scofield, seconded Cllr N Harvey, all in favour RESOLVED
7. Old Tattershall Bridge enhancements discussed – ideas, Red K6 phone box, Information Boards, Parking, all will be dependent on funding, and ownership of the land which is currently unregistered , Council could apply to register land that way if it is owned this will reveal ownership – Clerk asked to make enquiries into this with NK in the first instance, costs will be involved.
8. Clerks  action list – Need to check the Defibrillator in Chapel Hill, ex Councillor Tony May was doing this, no reports received by Council. Trees still need work as you turn into Tattershall Bridge from A153. More stone further along Riverbank Road and the 20ft Bank road to compensate for the breaking up of the edges of the roads.  Cllrs still receiving complaints about inconsiderate parking on the River Bank at Tattershall Bridge – ask for signage.
