Agenda

  1. Welcome from Chairman Cllr Mike Carr
  2. Resignation received via email from Anthony May – this was read following the meeting, Clerk chose to record at this point due to missing the email prior to meeting time. Council record thanks to Cllr May for his valued input into the Parish Council over his time in office.
  3. No declarations of interest at this point.
  4. Proposal to accept the notes as a true and correct record of the meeting of Council held Nov 21st 2022, Cllr A Means, seconded Cllr R Wilson all voted in favour RESOLVED.
  5. No additional reports from County or District Councillors for this meeting. Cllr Ogden again stressed that she is available at any time on email or telephone if her assistance is required.
  6. Fix my Street – Old decorative lamp at the foot of bridge/ junction Post Office Lsne has been damaged, reported to Lincs highways – this has been made safe by removing and lying to side. Investigation needed to possibly discuss repair and replacement, item for May agenda.
  7. Request for donation from Citizens Advice, Cllr G Forman Proposed £50 seconded Cllr M Carr, all in favour RESOLVED.
  8. Planning – 23/0008/HOUS – Cllr Forman declared interest and did not comment at consultation stage – Omega, 3 Chapel Lane, Full permission granted. 23/0095/FUL The Barn Tattershall Bridge Road, Council raised objections and email query sent to planning for an update.
  9. Finances – Proposal to pay all as listed using bank transfers as agreed previously. Cllr Carr seconded Cllr Wilson all voted in favour RESOLVED grass cutting end of season tidy up A Gibbons £54, salary Dec/Jan  K Roberts £323.20 HMRC 68.20; salary Feb/March £362.00, HMRC £78.40; Room hire March meeting  The Royal Oak £30.
  10. Next meeting date will be following elections 15th May 2023 no other dates fixed to be confirmed with new Council in May.
  11. Clerks report – 1.  no further updates on the temporary footpath repairs these are expected to be announced in the new financial year.   2. Nomination packs are here tonight should Councillors wish to complete one or take away. All Cllrs stand down at elections and new applications are required.

 

Concerns regarding activity at Tattershall Bridge, Council have raised concerns with Lincolnshire Police and North Kesteven Planning and Anti – social behaviour departments – all have responded and are carrying out investigations. Residents experiencing any issues should be directed to the relevant authorities to report directly. The Councillors requested the clerk flagged up again a possible planning breach. Clerk to action.

 

Chairman Cllr Mike Carr announced that after 35 plus years in local government he would not be standing for election this time, the councillors around the table all unanimously thanked Cllr Carr for his work with the Dogdyke PC providing a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the system, wishing him and his family all the very best for the future.

Already recorded above the resignation of Cllr May the same sentiments must be echoed for any other Councillors who decide not to stand for re election this year.

 

Council will be hopefully welcoming fresh faces and local knowledge onto the team in May 2023.

 

Retired Councillors will always be made welcome at any meetings.

 

Reports for action – lights out directly across from the junction of Tattershall Bridge to A153 – Pot holes and road side erosion making the river bank roads very narrow and dangerous. Clerk will report on Fix my Street. Ferry Farm Corner Pot holes.
