DOGDYKE Parish Council meeting

Held Monday 3rd July 2023 – 7pm at The Royal Oak Tattershall Bridge

In attendance – Chairman Cllr Andrew Means, Cllrs Peter Scofield, Jim Turner, Chris Brown & Neil Harvey.

No public or press attending.

AGENDA

07. 1.     Welcome from Cllr Means who opened the meeting.

07. 2.     Apologies and reason for absence from Cllr G Forman were proposed, to be accepted and RESOLVED – apologies also received from County Cllr Key and District Cllr Ogden.

07. 3.     No applications for the remaining seat on Council – advertisement will be placed on website and notice board in the village.

07.4.      No declarations of interest.

07.5.      Cllr Pete Scofield proposed the notes of the previous meeting held on May 15th are a true and correct record, Cllr C Brown seconded, all voted in favour RESOLVED Chairman signed and dated the minutes.

07.6.      Both Cllr Andrew Key LCC and Cllr Gill Ogden asked that Council keep in touch with them via email and phone as required.

07.7.      Finances – Salary June £241; HMRC £54; Salary July £241, HMRC £54, Grass cutting  cemetery and riverbank £189; donation citizens advice £50; Meeting room hire £30. Funds received from North Kesteven CIL fund £341.79

 Chairman requested the Clerk explain the CIL payment received from NLKDC – Community Infrastructure Levy – the total amount of CIL receipts collected from developers for Dogdyke (inc. Chapel Hill and Tattershall Bridge) is £2647.99. Dogdyke (inc. Chapel Hill and Tattershall Bridge) Parish Council is entitled to receive 15 per cent of this amount, which equates to £341.79.  Cllr C Brown proposed the payments as listed be paid, Cllr Means seconded, all voted in favour payments RESOLVED

07.8.      War Memorial cleaning and names re- leaded – quote from William Kents the original provider of the memorial have provided an updated price £1,045 plus VAT,  proposal Cllr Means that the CIL money received be used towards this work, seconded Cllr Harvey all voted in favour RESOLVED

07.9.      Resident has requested warning signs – there is a person feeding the wild fowl and swans on the Riverbank, council suggested that the person feeding the birds must consider the safety and make provision for signage if they feel the need.

07.10.    Clerks report – Hedges on A153 have been inspected and work allocated team. Lorry parked on site at Tattershall Bridge which is under investigation this is also a breach of operators licence, clerk will add to the report at NK.

                Items for clerk to report – Fly tipping on Twenty Foot Bank, Roadside erosion and parking at Tattershall Bridge landing stage.

                Meeting dates set for 9th October 2023 and 4th December 2023 – setting budget for 2024/25
