Meeting held March 21st # 2022 at 8pm

Royal Oak – Tattershall Bridge

In attendance Councillor Mike Carr, Councillor Pete Scofield, Councillor Guy Forman, Chairman,Councillor Andrew Means.

Agenda

1.         Welcome from Chairman

2.         Apologies from Cllrs Richard Pick, Tony May & Richard Wilson approved RESOLVED by unanimous vote.

3.         No declarations of interest

4.         Notes of meeting held on 17th January previously circulated were proposed Cllr M Carr, seconded Cllr P Scofield, all voted in favour RESOLVED Minutes signed by Chairman

5.         North Kesteven Cllr Ogden sent in a report – she continues to improve from her operation and is keen to get back to the meetings, urging council to contact her via phone or email with any areas of concern. County Cllr Andrew Key has arranged a site meeting with Highways officer Rowan Smith and any Cllrs who can attend on the 4th April at 2.30pm starting from the Royal Oak Tattershall Bridge to look at the areas continually reported A153 footpath , Riverbank Road to Chapel Hill from the Old Tattershall Bridge and the immediate area that is being used for parking at Tattershall Bridge, Cllrs Means & Carr to attend.

6.         Footpath repairs- as above no date for refurbishment.

7.         Council discussed Platinum Jubilee events, proposal to purchase commemorative plaques for the seat to be installed at Chapel Hill Bridge, RESOLVED ( it was decided as the village did not have a school the idea of providing for the children was not an option for Council) RESOLVED

8.         Replacement of the old style phone box was shelved for the foreseeable future, due to cost restraints, seat will be placed at the Bridge with plaque as above, also the seat on the entrance to the river bank footpath will be refurbished and the area tided up and maintained by the grass cutting contractors. RESOLVED unanimously

9.         Finances – proposal to pay all invoices as listed, clerks salary Feb/March £352, HMRC Feb/March £76, Grass cutting Elizabeth Avenue, annual invoice £360, Annual subscription LALC £145.41; seconded RESOLVED cheques signed

10.       Annual Council meeting date 16th May – Election of Chairman for the coming year.

11.       Clerks Report – War Memorial Cleaning and refurbishment, the War Memorials Trust will not help with funding for any new structures /fencing etc. Around the memorial, they will assist with cleaning and re blacking the names of the fallen.

Items were requested for future agendas to be sent to the Clerk for inclusion.

Chairman asked Clerk to research and report back the dates for formation of Dogdyke Parish Council and when the War Memorial was installed on site.
