You are hereby summoned to a meeting of the council which will be held in the side room at The Royal Oak” Tattershall Bridge on the 11th May 2026  7.00pm

Agenda

1.Nominations for Chairman –signing declaration of acceptance of office.

2. Nominations for Vice Chairman – signing declaration acceptance of office

Standing orders suspended to allow for Public forum Fifteen minutes are allocated if needed prior to meeting for members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to council.

Meeting re - opened – standing orders re- instated

3. Welcome from elected Chairman

4. Apologies for absence and reasons given

5. Declaration of interest and requests for dispensations in accordance with Local Act 2011

6. Draft notes of the meeting held March 2nd 2026 :- to adopt as true and correct  record.

7. Reports from District and County Councillors if in attendance

8. Annual audit

 A. To receive internal auditors report, consider the points made for future discussion.

 B. To receive and consider the annual governance statement

 C. To approve the accounting statement in line with cash book and asset register

 D. Resolution of signing and publishing documents, Chairman / Clerk

E. To approve the dates of electors rights for publishing

9. To consider the scope of cover on annual insurance – and resolve provider to companies quoted last year’s provider is still best price for same cover.

10. Finance – resolution for payments known to date: - Salary April £295.60: HMRC £66.40  Salary May £295.60, HMRC £66.40,Grass cutting cemetery & village x 2 cuts £240 Council annual insurance £264   Internal auditor fee £143.50 Meeting room hire £30

11. To consider prior approval for contractual services – monthly payments – salary & HMRC / grass cutting invoices / meeting room hire as required per meeting.

12. Clerk’s report

  1. Update on local concerns and correspondence should any have been received.
  2. Defibrillator registered on the Circuit – NHS – was collected and returned by emergency services – not used thankfully. 
  3. To receive any concerns for reporting to Fix My Street and other agencies.
