Meeting October 6th 2025

Royal Oak Tattershall Bridge 7pm.

No public in attendance.

In attendance were Councillors Peter Schofield, Neil Harvey, Richard Wilson, Chris Brown, Andrew Means and Guy Forman.

1.  Welcome from Chairman Cllr Peter Schofield

2.  Apologies and reasons for absence were RESOLVED from Cllr Jim Turner

3.  No declarations of interest or requests for dispensations

4.  No declarations received.

5.  Notes of the meeting held October 6th 2025 :-PROPOSAL Cllr A Means to adopt as true

      and correct record, Seconded Cllr R Wilson all in favour RESOLVED

6. Reports from District Councillor Adrian Whittle – NK have submitted a proposed plan for

     the redistribution of the districts in the devolution process, several proposals have been

     put forward, there are lots of discussions going on with currently no answers.

7. Request for funding donation – Citizens Advice PROPOSAL Cllr G Forman to donate £75

    seconded Cllr C Brown, all in favour RESOLVED

8. Planning –  None received.

9. Finance – resolution for payments known to date: - Salary November £292.20 HMRC

    £53.80. December £292.20 HMRC £53.80. January £292.20 HMRC £53.80 Grass cutting

    cemetery & village x 2 £240. Room hire December £30 training £93.60 (£15.60 VAT to be

    reclaimed) Poppy wreath donation £35 PROPOSAL Cllr G Forman to pay all as 

    listed RESOLVED

10. To review budget proposals and bank balances - to set precept request for 2026/27

      After discussion PROPOSAL to increase by 5% £336 Precept request £7,056.00 all in

      Favour,  RESOLVED.

11. To appoint – internal auditor for April 2026   - Clerk Karen Elliot to be approached.

12. To adopt the Code of conduct including Civility & Respect  - PROPOSED Cllr A Means.

       Seconded Cllr C Brown RESOLVED all signed.

13.  Fix My Street reports – 1. A153 subsidence full length of parish, 2. Edges of the roadsides needing attention Twenty Ft Road, Riverbank Rd, road near sewage plant sinking.

All grit bins to be checked and filled, Elizabeth Avenue bin has been destroyed apply for a replacement.

14.  LALC webmaster service is being used for updating the website, most headings are in place.

 

15. Clerk’s report

a. Local Information boards are to be discussed at next meeting for Tattershall Bridge and Chapel Hill Bridge areas

c. Winter salt bag to be delivered at Stennetts Farm for village use.
