Dogdyke Parish Council
Meeting 2nd March 2026
Royal Oak Tattershall Bridge 7pm.
One member of public attended to report Pot holes on Witham Drive that were missed when the earlier repairs were completed, also the River Bank Road from Chapel Hill to Tattershall Bridge roadsides are eroding with traffic running off the road to allow oncoming vehicles to pass. It was also mentioned that the Twenty Foot Bank road also needs attention with back filling to roadsides.
In attendance were Councillors Peter Schofield, Neil Harvey, James Turner, Chris Brown, Andrew Means and Guy Forman.

2. Apologies and reasons for absence were RESOLVED from Cllr Richard Wilson
3. Declarations of interest or requests for dispensations- Cllr Forman declared on item 8
owner of the land – Planning permission withdrawn. Wished to explain details.
4. Error on agenda – item duplicated.
5. Notes of the meeting held December 1st 2025 :-PROPOSAL Cllr A Means to adopt as true
and correct record, Seconded Cllr J Turner all in favour RESOLVED
6. County Cllr East – reported they have all been given a fund allowance to distribute to
parishes in their wards upon successful application. The Belfour Beatty are offering free
man hours to carry out works in parishes where needed. Clerk to investigate how to
access this useful service.
NK D Cllr Whittle – reported on the Council tax increase, which equates to 11p per week
on a band D property.
7. The Local Government restructuring bids are now in and available for consultation until
March 28th Councils are encouraged to make comment if they wish.
8. Planning – 26/0008/PNGAR land North of Witham Drive – Withdrawn – Cllr Guy Forman
explained that he had withdrawn the application as the need was no longer required.
9. Finances - resolution for payments known to date: - Salary Feb £292.20 HMRC £53.80.
March £292.20 HMRC £53.80. Room hire December £30, Bank charges 3 months £12.75
LALC Annual membership fee £172.28 Annual training fees 26/27 £130 + £26 vat,
Website- £54.00 + £10.80 VAT. Proposal that all as listed be approved Cllr G Forman,
seconded Cllr N Harvey, all voted in favour RESOLVED
10. To review budget versus actual spend and report bank balance – document shows an
over spend of £320 on predicted however LALC training scheme has been paid for the
coming financial year. Bank balance to date £792.05 – Cllrs thanked the Clerk for this.
11. a. To review and approve the Councils IT and email policy -

12. Items for reporting Fix My Street or other agencies –
1. Briars at foot of Tattershall Bridge – possible job for Balfour Beatty?
2. New footpath – chase the suppliers – following subsidence report.
3. Dip in the road near sewage plant – FMS
4. Pot holes from Tattershall Bridge to Chapel Hill
5. Dyke Clearance at Elizabeth Avenue – possible job for Balfour Beatty.
Clerk to investigate and report as required and inform Cllrs at next meeting.

14. Clerks report, Defibrillator needs to have power connected. Suggestion of a 15 minute Public forum as Annual Parish Meeting at the start of May meeting, no speaker invited.
Meeting dates set May 11th Annual Council meeting preceded by Annual Parishioners Meeting. July 13th further dates to be arranged.
