There are 1000 listed buildings and 35 scheduled monuments in NK; there are 13 entries in Dogdyke Parish (last surveyed in 1980) interesting to note that the Parish Council was formed around this time, there is a second list of no designated assets it is Matthews job to update this list to improve the planning officers understanding of the area, protecting the buildings and the owners. There is a grant scheme of £25k per year from Heritage Lincolnshire NK to help owners with preservation of these properties.
At least two of the 13 properties mentioned in Dogdyke Parish are no longer standing.
Designation criteria is on NK website 2016 onwards, Matthew has a job for a good few years bringing this all up to date.
Chapel Hill Bridge is 100 years old. Not listed.
Old Tattershall Bridge is not listed – although cllrs believe it is.
